It is now the perfect season for picking spring tea. Tea farmers and enterprises across Leshan are bustling with activity, seizing the moment to harvest and process tea to supply the market and ensure its fresh arrival.
Amidst the endless rows of green tea bushes, the nimble hands of tea farmers dance up and down, plucking tender tea buds with a pinch and a lift, then placing them into bamboo baskets.
Located in the southwestern part of the Sichuan Basin, Leshan is one of the most suitable regions in China for producing high-quality green tea and is the core area for the jasmine tea industry. Tea is also the most prominent, market-stable, and income-secure leading industry for local farmers. Currently, the city boasts 1.4 million mu (approximately 93,333 hectares) of standardized tea plantations, with an annual output of 150,000 tons of dry raw tea. The total output value of raw tea reaches 9.8 billion yuan, and the comprehensive output value amounts to 32 billion yuan, ranking among the top in the province. Leshan is fully committed to building the regional public brand "Emei Mountain Tea," strengthening technological support for tea production, enhancing the cultural value of the brand, promoting the integration of tea and tourism, and increasing the added value of the industrial chain. These efforts aim to boost farmers' income and contribute to rural revitalization.
春回大地,茶叶飘香。眼下正是春茶采摘的好时节。乐山各地的茶农、茶企纷纷忙碌起来,抢抓时机,忙着采茶、制茶供应市场,抢鲜上市。
在一垄垄茶叶绿海中,茶农们灵巧的双手在茶树间上下舞动,一捏一提,采摘鲜嫩的茶芽,放入竹篓中。
乐山位于四川盆地西南部,是全国名优绿茶最适宜区和全国茉莉花茶产业核心区,也是乐山优势最明显、市场效益最持续、农民收益最稳定的主导产业。目前,全市标准化茶园面积达140万亩、干毛茶年产量15万吨、毛茶总产值达98亿元,综合产值达320亿元,位于全省前列。乐山市正全力打造“峨眉山茶”区域公用品牌,强化茶科技支撑、提升品牌文化内涵、促进茶旅融合发展、提高产业链附加值,助茶农增收,助力乡村振兴。
